Peter Bosire brings over 20 years of legal expertise and direct refugee resettlement experience to his work with RICA. His career exemplifies RICA’s mission of providing comprehensive, culturally responsive support that empowers refugees and immigrants to navigate complex legal systems with dignity and purpose.

A graduate with LLB Honors from Maharishi Dayanand University and accredited by the Massachusetts School of Law, Peter combines international legal training with specialized U.S. immigration expertise. His cross-continental education uniquely positions him to understand the diverse legal frameworks that refugees and immigrants must navigate during their integration journey.

From 2023 to 2025, Peter worked with a federally funded refugee resettlement organization in Worcester, Massachusetts, working directly with immigration lawyers as a paralegal and legal services coordinator. In this role, he provided critical legal support during refugee settlement processes and served as a case manager, continuously monitoring client progress, embodying RICA’s holistic, long-term empowerment approach.

Peter’s legal expertise is essential for RICA’s comprehensive service delivery, particularly in helping clients understand their rights, navigate immigration processes, and access legal protections. His experience spans private practice in Kenya and humanitarian services in Massachusetts, giving him unique insight into the systemic barriers preventing refugees and immigrants from accessing justice.

Currently involved in human service management, Peter continues his commitment to serving vulnerable populations through trauma-informed, culturally responsive approaches. His multilingual capabilities and cross-cultural legal expertise enable him to serve as a vital bridge between complex legal systems and immigrant communities who often face language barriers and cultural misunderstandings when seeking legal assistance.
